The US Environmental Protection Agency’s Green Power Partnership recently recognized Ithaca College for its commitment to obtaining electric energy from renewable resources for 5 years. Of the College’s electric needs in 2022, approximately 10% was supplied from its 2MW solar farm in Geneva, NY, an added 2% is provided from a community solar project in Lansing, NY and the remaining 88% was purchased through our electric supplier as certified Green-E sourced power which is largely out of state wind energy.
