The Exploratory Program welcomes new explorers to our community. Students attending our Fall Orientation sessions will have their fall semester schedules reviewed for completeness and coherence by program affiliates. We will also make time to get to know new explorers and welcome them as members of our community. Please bring your laptop if at all possible.

As a welcome to South Hill and as a first step in building a new community for new graduate learners, the Office of the Provost will be hosting the Graduate Student Welcome Reception on Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM in the Peggy Ryan Williams Building Lobby with light refreshments. In attendance will be the school deans, graduate program directors, fellow graduates, and the reception will feature remarks from the college President, Provost, and Associate Provost for Graduate and Professional Studies.
Convocation Procession will begin at approximately 10:00 am – if part of the procession, please plan on being present for lineup by 9:30 am
Convocation Ceremony will begin immediately after the procession
