Welcome to Student Teaching! This is likely to be both the most challenging and the most rewarding semester of your preparation to be a teacher. This is the time when you (finally!) get to develop sustained relationships with students. You have an opportunity to inspire young people to love learning. Placement of Student Teachers
All student teaching placements are made by Ithaca College Teacher Education faculty and the Field Placement Coordinator. We place student teachers with the mentor we feel will best support their learning and growth.
