A day or week of classes in college is structured quite differently than in high school. You won't have the same courses each day, and class times will vary in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Outside of class, you'll have free time for studying, socializing, participating on an athletic team, working out, and enjoying campus activities.
Your First Semester Course Schedule
You will find that your own class schedule will be similar to - but not exactly like - the samples provided below. For your first semester schedule, we will use your degree requirements and interests as a guide in developing your schedule during the summer before you begin. Completing your interest survey in a timely manner is critical in this process. You will be able to work with your faculty advisor to make adjustments as needed during orientation when you arrive on campus in the fall.
Courses offered, the times they are offered, and the availability of courses can vary from semester-to-semester. Additionally, there are many variations based upon student interests so these should be interpreted as general examples only as your course schedule may look different for your first semester.
