The IC Mentoring Network on LinkedIn is a virtual community of IC alumni, students, parents, and friends who are exchanging information and tips about their career paths and professional lives. There are now over 1,600 members in the network -- the numbers are growing daily -- and there are dozens of conversations taking place between alumni, students, and other IC community members right now. Once you've joined, you can join the STEM subgroup to get in touch with other chemists and biochemists in the group.
If you are an alum, your advice is especially helpful to students and we encourage you to get involved in this meaningful way to give back to IC by offering to help students with questions about their career and life path. Your participation will help make this web page a great resource for past and future Alumni.
If you are a current student, over 800 alumni are on the network, available to help you with answers to your questions and provide information, guidance, and advice. Important note to students...It is not appropriate to use the group to ask alumni for jobs or internships outright, but rather use the mentoring network as a means to ask questions about how to manage and successfully pursue and learn more about career fields and professions, and get to know alumni through seeking their advice and information.
If you are an Ithaca College parent, your advice is valuable and especially helpful to students. We encourage you to get involved in this meaningful way to help IC by offering your availability to help students with their questions about their career and life path.
