International Politics Minor

Our minor in International Studies draws from a wide curriculum covering many themes in our international courses. These courses range from issues like political economy to theory to music and popular culture to specific global phenomena such as migrations, race, nationalism, and indigenous resistance. They also have broad geographical coverage including the Middle East, Asia, Asia-Pacific, Africa, Latin America, Russia, Europe, and the U.S.

  • One 400 level international course:
    Seminar, Tutorial, Internship. 
    ** POLT 401xx Seminar in Comparative/ International Studies;
    POLT 403xx Tutorial in Comparative/International Studies;
    or an internship if the chair or
    director of internships determines
    that the internship falls within the field of comparative/international studies; if so the course number is POLT 40550.
