Audition and Interview Requirements

All applicants must submit both the Common App and Acceptd application by the program deadline. Pre-screen materials will not be evaluated, and applicants will not be able to schedule an audition or interview, until both the Common App and Acceptd application are submitted.

Sound Recording Technology (all instruments) and Voice (all programs) applicants must submit pre-screen materials as part of their Acceptd application. Applicants to these programs will be invited to schedule an audition pending a successful pre-screen.

Composition, Music Education, and Music Education and Performance applicants must submit supplemental material as part of their Acceptd application. Applicants to these programs will be able to schedule an audition and interview pending confirmation of application submissions.

Jazz Studies, Music (B.A.), Music in Combination with an Outside Field, and Performance applicants for all instruments other than Voice do not need to submit a pre-screen or supplemental materials, and will be able to schedule an audition and interview pending confirmation of application submissions.
