This is a new degree offering which will be coming soon to Common App. The initial entry term will be Fall 2024. 

The Bachelor of Science in Strategic Leadership equips students with the skills they need to succeed in leadership positions in organizations regardless of size or industry. Students benefit from immersive, experiential learning opportunities as courses emphasize the real-world application of skills and knowledge. In the required course Leadership & Collaboration, students complete a team service-learning project. In the capstone course Leading Organizational Change, students work in teams to complete a semester-long consulting project that requires collecting and analyzing data and formulating justifiable recommendations for a local organization.

The program features a streamlined business core (shared by all majors in the School of Business), with a mix of 2- and 4-credit courses that balance cutting-edge courses with others designed to equip you with fundamental skills. For example, you’ll obtain Excel Certification, and you’ll be prepared to be certified in Project Management. Overall, the program intentionally cultivates those skills that are most sought after by employers: oral communication, written communication, critical thinking, problem solving, ethical judgment, working effectively in teams, working independently/self-motivation, service learning, and project management.

You’ll also have sufficient flexibility to explore across the liberal arts and other professional fields. For example, you will have opportunities to supplement your business education with courses offered by Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications and IC’s three other schools (Health Sciences and Human Performance; Humanities and Sciences; and Music, Theatre, and Dance).

You’ll benefit from sufficient flexibility to explore across the liberal arts and other professional fields. The purpose of this degree is to educate broadly minded business leaders.

The Bachelor of Science in Sport Management is designed to equip you to be a leader in the sports industry. The curriculum blends courses in sport management with a general business education, emphasizing skills needed to succeed at all levels and in all types of sports—whether professional, intercollegiate, amateur, or recreational. You will gain deep knowledge of the field of sport management, including current issues and challenges facing the business of sports. The BS in Sport Management integrates curricular and co-curricular experiences. with signature experiential opportunities built into your course requirements. Ithaca College’s current programs in sport are among the nation’s premier programs, and our graduates are sought by sports organizations at all levels.

The B.S. in Marketing program is distinguished by its strong experiential senior seminar, the currency of its offerings in relevant subfields like digital marketing and marketing analytics, and the real-world data tools available in the Neeson Analytics Lab on the Ithaca College campus.

The program features a streamlined business core (shared by all majors in the School of Business), with a mix of 2- and 4-credit courses that balance cutting-edge courses with others designed to equip you with fundamental skills.

You’ll have sufficient flexibility to explore across the liberal arts and other professional fields. For example, you may supplement your business education with content creation and advertising courses offered by Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications.

The Bachelor of Science in Finance provides students the knowledge, experiences, and skills needed for careers in the financial services industry. The BS in Finance is distinguished by its strong experiential components, faculty members’ industry experience, and direct connections to the industry through alumni engagement. Courses will ensure that you gain experience and stay current in this rapidly changing industry.

You may explore widely in the finance field, or you can select an optional concentration in Asset Management or Wealth Management. This enables you to tailor your course choices to prepare for specific career paths in finance in areas where Ithaca College has a long track record of successful placements for internships and employment.
