Jana Waller is an Associate Dean in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance (HSHP).
Her primary areas of interests include leadership and administration and interprofessional education and interprofessional practice (IPE/IPP).
Ms. Waller's home department is Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SLPA) in which she teaches graduate courses in professional practice and counseling in speech-language pathology, and serves as the advisor for the Deaf Studies minor.
Ms. Waller is honored to work with the incredible students, staff, and faculty at Ithaca College. In her work as a leader, faculty member, and speech-language pathologist (SLP), Ms. Waller facilitates strengths-based, collaborative, and evidence-based approaches for establishing and meeting objectives. In addition to her work at Ithaca College, Ms. Waller worked as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings and loved them all! Her background includes work in educational, hospital, skilled nursing ,rehabilitation, and home-based settings.
Ms. Waller has an M.S. from Ithaca College in Speech-Language Pathology, a B.S. from the University of Washington in Speech and Hearing Sciences., a B.A. from SUNY Albany in Psychology and is a member of the Alpha Eta Society-The National Scholastic Honor Society for the Allied Health Professions.
