Please join the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life for the fourth Students and Families Virtual Gathering of the spring semester on Thursday, April 29th.

The agenda for this upcoming gathering will touch on several important topics as we put the finishing touches on the academic year. Presentations will include:

Join us for our third Students and Families Virtual Gathering of the spring semester on Thursday, March 25, 2021, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. EST.

The opening segments of the gathering will feature brief presentations from several departmental leaders, while we will also dedicate a significant amount of time to address your specific questions. Please see the following agenda for Thursday’s gathering:

Opioid Overdose Prevention Training

Learn how to save the life of someone who has overdosed on an opioid such as Oxycontin, Vicodin or heroin. Participants will gain knowledge of harm reduction principles, symptoms of overdose, how to administer naloxone (Narcan) to an opioid overdose victim, and the naloxone access initiative at Ithaca College.

Hosted by the Center for Health Promotion, in partnership with Southern Tier AIDS Program (STAP).

Open to all IC faculty, staff and students.

Coaching Persistence, Resilience and Failure: a Webinar for Families and Supporters

Join Dr. Elizabeth Bleicher in an engaging, enlightening, and humorous discussion of coaching your college student on the personal, academic, and professional rewards of persistence, resilience, and failure. This webinar will be recorded and available on our Family and Supporters webpage (https://www.ithaca.edu/families) one week after the event.

SGC and SLT Present: Student Conversation on the Academic Prioritization Process

Are you a student looking to learn more on the state of the Academic Prioritization Process (APP)? Make plans to join us on Tuesday, January 19, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. as members of the Student Governance Council (SGC) lead a STUDENTS ONLY town hall discussion with members of Ithaca College's Senior Leadership Team (SLT).

We will be answering your live questions and dedicating an hour of transparent discussion on the current status of the APP.
