From 5:15-6:15 pm, April 20 the Jewish Student Union is hosting an outdoor game night event on the quad in front of the Campus Center/Fitness Center. We will have a bunch of classic backyard games where you will get to play a round of every game one time and then decide on a game you would like to play for the remainder of the time. We will have an assortment of Corn hole, Spike ball, Ladder ball, and Can-Jam. When you arrive you will check in with our health and safety officer, where you will receive a small bag of Clorox wipes to use on the equipment.

IC Impact - Composting at IC

Online

This week, we are tackling the dilemma of composting at IC. Did you know that there used to be composting in the dining halls, but the receptacles had to be removed because students were throwing their trash in the compost? At this weeks meeting we will learn about why composting is essential from the wonderful Alex. Then our very own Katie will break down why students at IC choose not to compost. We will follow these presentations with a discussion on how to encourage composting at IC and how to get composting receptacles back and better than ever!

Focus Asia Month: Stopping Asian American Hate: Mobilizing Collective Grief against White Supremacy

Online

“Stopping Asian American Hate: Mobilizing Collective Grief against White Supremacy” seeks to educate the campus community about the rise of anti-Asian violence, why it is so difficult to see, and considers how to move forward in solidarity with other communities of color.

We invite the campus community to listen to Asian American voices and experiences as we discuss a history of anti-Asian violence.
