The Ithaca College Sport Management Association prepares students for careers in the sport industry. Students gain real-world experience by working at events, such as the men’s and women’s MAAC basketball championships, as well as the NCAA Women’s basketball tournament. Club members also plan, promote and execute on-campus events, such as dodgeball tournaments, three-point shooting contests, and more.
We also connect with various leaders in the industry to build our networks, as well as gain industry-specific career advice. In addition, the Sport Management Association also hosts resume and cover letter bootcamps, as well as LinkedIn help nights.
Anyone can join the Sport Management Association, and club members all have a shared passion to make a difference in the sport industry. If you’d like to help put on events and gain professional experience, we’d love to meet you!
