Walter's Whaleness Express is a free wellness (whaleness) supply order form for Ithaca College students to help take care of their well-being! Students can place orders for different wellness tools and have the option to either pick up their orders at the Center for Health Promotion or on-campus students can have them delivered to their smart parcel lockers.
Please see below for more information about the different supplies available. Please note that supply availability may vary throughout the school year.
Wellness Supplies
Each KN95 order comes with 5 individually wrapped masks and a paper bag for storage. A KN95 mask should be worn to provide a high level of protection from airborne particles, like viruses and air pollution. The mask filters out approximately 95% of airborne particles, making it particularly useful for those with a weakened or suppressed immune system, individuals that are not feeling well, safer traveling and more. It can be worn to prevent the spread of respiratory illnesses if you find yourself sick.
To wear the mask properly:
Wash hands with warm water and soap before putting on mask
While holding the mask with the nose piece facing upwards, place it over your nose and mouth, ensuring it covers both,
Place the left and right straps over the respective ear
Mold the nose piece to the bridge of your nose to create a tight seal around your face
Check for gaps by gently exhaling into the mask while your hands cover it completely
Do not touch the front of the mask while wearing it
External Condoms
Use for: anal, oral, or vaginal sex on a penis and for sex toy play

All available external condoms are made of premium quality latex
Lifestyles Assorted Colors® Lubricated Condoms, Lifestyles KYNG Large® Lubricated Condoms, Lifestyles Ultra-Sensitive® Lubricated, Trojan® Lubricated Condoms and Trojan Magnum® Lubricated Condoms are coated with silicone lubricant for increased comfort and sensitivity
All external condoms are spermicide -free
When used correctly, effectively prevents unplanned pregnancy and STI transmission
Internal Condoms
Use for: anal or vaginal sex and for sex toy play
Available style: FC2®Female Condom by the Female Health Company
Made of nitrile, a latex-free material
Spermicide-free
Coated in a soft, silicone lubricant
Is designed to be inserted into the vagina for vaginal intercourse, but can also be used for anal intercourse by removing the internal ring
When used correctly, effectively prevents unplanned pregnancy and STI transmission
Oral Dams (DENTAL DAMS)
Use for: Oral Sex on the anus or vulva and sex toy play
Available: Lixx®Oral Dams and Sheer Glyde® Dental Dams
LIXX® Dental Dams: A thin latex sheet measuring approximately 7 inches by 5 inches, comes in assorted Flavors including banana, grape, mint, strawberry and vanilla
Sheer Glyde® Dental Dams: A thin latex sheet measuring approximately 10 inches by 6 inches, comes in assorted flavors including spearmint, strawberry, vanilla and wildberry
When used correctly, effectively prevents STI transmission during oral-vulva and oral-anal sex
Please Note: There are no latex free options for oral dams available. If needed one can substitute clear/saran wrap *
PLAN B ONE-STEP (LEVONORGESTREL 1.5 MG)
Use for: Emergency contraception after vaginal/penile sex without protection or if protection was damaged (i.e. condom breaking).
Available: Plan B One-Step (Levonorgestrel 1.5mg), 1 tablet
Instructions for use: Take within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected vaginal/penile sex. Take with water and do not consume food with medication. The sooner the medication is taken, the more effective it is.
Note: This is not intended to replace birth control and will not work if pregnant (there is no harm if someone is already pregnant)
Possible side effects: menstrual changes, nausea, headache, lower stomach pain, tiredness, breast pain, vomiting, dizziness

Each Sleep Kit includes tools and resources to help improve your sleep including; ear plugs, decaffeinated tea, task sheets, sleep masks, and informational tools.
Deterra ® Medication disposal pouch (1 Large sized pouch)
Medication disposal pouches deactivate and can safely dispose of up to 90 pills or 12 oz. of liquid medication or 12 patches. By following three step instructions on the back of the pouch. Utilizing these pouches can help safely dispose of medications without contaminating water supplies.
Fentanyl and Xylazine testing strips are available and can be used to test substances for the presence of fentanyl or xylazine. We especially encourage individuals to test any pills or powders they are using.
This printed t-break guide can help individuals that would like to take a tolerance break from cannabis.
Each kit includes tools for removing ticks and a tick identification card.
Each Quit Kit includes some tools and informational resources to help you get started on reducing or quitting smoking or vaping. Tools in the kits include several items to help curb cravings including; caffeinated tea, pack of gum, tootsie pop, fidget items (slinky, bracelet, bouncy ball, puzzle), and informational tools
