Digital Media Lab

The Digital Media Lab in Job 102 is open to all students, staff and faculty for hands-on learning with various digital media, including Podcasting, Virtual Reality, and Photo, Video and Audio Recording Equipment.

Production Space and Equipment open to all

The Digital Media Lab has a wide range of equipment and space to support academic and personal projects for IC students, staff and faculty.
  • DSLR cameras and camcorders
    • Canon EOS 7D andvariouslenses
    • SONY 1080p camcorder
  • 360 cameras
    • Yi 360 camera
    • Vuze + 360 camera
    • Insta360 camera
      • Dive kit (waterproof housing for the camera)
    • Monopodfor 360 cameras
  • Photo and video tripods
  • Wireless and wired lavalier microphones

Virtual reality headsets are available for use with VR development.

  • Meta/Oculus Quest 1 & 2
  • Meta/Oculus Rift S

Outfitted with LED lights, greenscreen, photo backdrops, sound dampening panels, open space for 6DOF VR

  • 3 high end desktop computers outfitted for video editing, virtual reality development or 3D modeling.

    • Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (including Beta apps with new AI tools)
    • Blender
    • Unity
    • Unreal Engine
