Fall Orientation

Abbie is an Orientation Mentor majoring in Sports Media with a minor in Politics. She enjoys watching soccer, and has covered the National Women's Soccer League Final. On campus, Abbie is part of the Pre-Law Society and has played on the intramural soccer team. 

Kalysta is an Orientation Mentor with a double major in Journalism and English and a minor in Art. Her favorite things to do include photography, painting, drawing, and reading. Kalysta is a photographer for Ithaca College's student-run newspaper, The Ithacan, where she previously held the position of photo editor.

Surya is an Orientation Mentor with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. Surya loves to explore, read about space, mythology, and geology, and talk to different people. She also enjoys playing musical instruments like the piano, and holds many positions on campus including: Web Director for Ithaca's student-run newspaper, The Ithacan, Junior Web Developer for IT, and President of both the Astronomy Club and Girls Who Code at Ithaca College.

Alexander is an Orientation Leader majoring in Film, Photography, and Visual Arts. With a passion for photography, he also enjoys to play video games and watch horror movies. Additionally, they are a member of Ithaca College's film society, Delta Kappa Alpha, a participant in Open Mic (and will likely be their photographer this semester), and have previously worked for Towers Eatery.

Aoife is an Orientation Leader majoring in Communication Management and Design with a concentration in corporate design and a minor in Graphic Design. On campus, she is a member of Ithaca College's only all female aligned a cappella group, Premium Blend, was re-elected as Senate Member for the Student Governance Council, and will be working at the Campus Center Information Desk. Aoife likes watching movies and tv shows, creating and sharing art with friends, painting, drawing, and singing with Premium Blend. 

Becca is an Orientation Leader majoring in Education Studies. Some of her passions include music and singing, playing guitar, hiking, and teaching. Becca is also the Communications Director for the a cappella group Premium Blend.

Cameron is an Orientation Leader pursuing a major in Politics and an Environment and Society minor. Some of his favorite activities include playing trading card games, rowing, biking, playing video and board games, and sleeping. On campus, Cameron is on the rowing team and is the President of the Trading Card Game Club.

Chayse is an Orientation Leader pursuing a major in Television and Digital Media Production and a minor in Philosophy. With a passion for photography, Chayse is also a camera operator for ICTV's show Roommate Rumble, a member of Delta Kappa Alpha, and works in the Park School dean's office as an office assistant.

Claire is an Orientation Leader with a major in Public and Community Health. On campus, she is a member of Kweezy, the women's ultimate Frisbee team, and works at the campus store. Some of Claire's favorite hobbies include watching the sunset, hiking, hammocking, playing cards games, ultimate Frisbee, and volleyball.

Eve is an Orientation Leader pursuing a major in Writing for Film, Television, and Emerging Media and minors in English and Education Studies. Some of Eve's hobbies include reading, watching movies, and playing tennis. Eve is also an admission host, the Delta Kappa Alpha Pi chapter secretary, and a contributing writer for Buzzsaw Magazine.

Grace is an Orientation Leader with a double major in Television and Digital Media, and Business Management with a focus in strategic leadership. At Ithaca, Grace is on the e-board for the Cheerleading team, involved with ICTV, the host of a podcast with VIC Radio, and is involved with the clubs Women in Communications and Pinky Swear Pack. In the summer, she does water sports such as waterskiing and wakeboarding, but Grace also enjoys to read, write, paint, and hike.

Julia is an Orientation Leader majoring in Film, Photography, and Visual Arts. Currently, they are the social media manager for The Ithacan, as well as a part of a few ICTV shows. Outside of classes, Julia enjoys doing anything related to art, as well as writing, playing guitar, and playing softball.

Kristen is an Orientation Leader majoring in Communication MAnagement and Design and minoring in Live Events. Some of her favorite things to do are play tennis, journaling, drawing and painting, making crafts and collages, tumbling, and hanging out with friends. On campus, Kristen is also a Jumpstart leader, an admission host, part of the club tennis team, and a member of the Youth Movement Against Alzheimers.

Lexi is an Orientation Leader majoring in Television and Digital Media with a minor in Writing for Film, TV, and Emerging Media. While at Ithaca, they work an on-campus job through student employment, have been a writer for multiple ICTV late night / comedy shows, and are presently a member of Shoebox Magazine. She also enjoys seeing local music, meditating, being outdoors, rock climbing on campus, and drinking coffee.

Maddy is an Orientation Leader with a major in Writing for Film, Television, & Emerging Media and a minor in English. She is a member of The Ithacan's video and photography sections, co-editor of the Prose and Cons section for Buzzsaw Magazine, a writer for ICTV's new scripted show, "First-Years," and the media strategist for the Career Center's podcast, Career Corner. In Maddy's free time, they like to read, write, watch and make movies, play tennis, take pictures, and be outside with friends.

Molly is an Orientation Leader studying Theatre Administration with minors in Business Entrepreneurship and Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing Communications. On campus, she works for Conference and Events Services and in the box office in Dillingham Center. Molly is also the theater administration representative for the Dillingham Spotlight Committee. Some of their favorite things to do are to spend time with friends, graphic design, read, and hang out with her cats.

Olivia is an Orientation Leader with a major in Writing for Film, Television, & Emerging Media and minors in Journalism and Education. She is also an MLK Scholar, a Scripted Director and Staff Writer for ICTV, Peer Advisor and Leader of the H&S Pathways Program, Newscaster for WICB and VIC, Co-Founder and President of the Harmony Theatre Collective, Co-Founder of Twisted Minds Theatre, and a member of Women in Communication, ICMixed, and Buzzsaw Magazine. When Olivia is able to, she enjoys watching tv, movies, and theatre, reading, writing, scrapbooking, listening to music, and swimming.

Rachel is an Orientation Leader majoring in Television and Digital Media Production. On campus, she is heavily involved with "Looped In" and "Newswatch" on ICTV, a modern rock DJ for WICB, and will be the Local Music Director next year. Rachel is also a member of NYSFA, and likes to go on walks, bake, listen to music, read, color, and amphibian patrol.

Sabrina is an Orientation Leader studying Cinema and Photography with a concentration in cinema and a minor in Writing for Film, Television, & Digital Media. In her free time, Sabrina likes to read, sing, act, write, juggle, play board games, run, and hike. On campus, Sabrina is a production producer and actor for ICTV's scripted series "First-Years," a member of Running Club, and works at the Park Cafe.

Sofia is an Orientation Leader pursuing a major in Writing. Their interests include theatre, reading, art, drawing, and crocheting. Sofia will be on the e-boards for Harmony Theater Collective and Animation Appreciation of IC. They are also one of the digital media coordinators for the Center for LGBT Education, Outreach, and Services.

Haley is an Orientation Mentor majoring in Voice Performance and Music Education. Some of her hobbies include crocheting, being outside, music, and theatre. Haley is a member of the a cappella group Premium Blend, the American Choral Directors Association, the Music, Theatre, and Dance Senate, and a Head Peer Success Coach at the Center for Student Success. 

Leah is an Orientation Mentor pursuing a major in Speech Language Pathology & Audiology with a minor in Spanish. She is the President of the IC National Student Speech Language and Hearing Association, an admission host, and a member of IC Hillel and Planned Parenthood Generation Action. She enjoys singing, baking, and spending time in nature to wind down and relax.

Abigail is an Orientation Leader majoring in Musical Theatre, and is also a member of the International Club, Tau Sigma Transfer Honors Society, Asian American Alliance, Island Fusion Dance Team, and an admission host. Outside of college, Abigail likes to watch movies and live theater, read, play the piano, and sing.

Amelia is an Orientation Leader with a major in Vocal Performance and a member of the a cappella group Premium Blend. Outside of courses and extracurriculars, she likes to crochet, learn instruments, and read. 

Atticus is an Orientation Leader pursuing a major in Writing for Film, Television, and Emerging Media and minors in Anthropology and Art. As a writer, he takes imagination and creativity very seriously to envelope his creative works with subjects like anthropology, ecology, geography, and history. When not writing, Atticus likes to watch movies and tv shows, play video and card games, and all sorts of nerdy art. He has also joined The Ithacan and Buzzsaw Magazine and is working on creating his own club.

Bella is an Orientation Leader pursuing a major in Occupational Therapy and an Aging Studies minor. On campus, she is an admission host tour guide, an e-board member for the Ithaca College Student Occupational Therapy Association, and a board member for iSign. Outside of classes and extracurriculars, Bella likes to dance, bake, play board games and puzzles, watch reality TV, and to spend time with family and friends.

Cameron is an Orientation Leader majoring in Cinema and Photography with a concentration in cinema and a Screenwriting minor. He is also part of ICTV and the Cornell Marching Band, and likes to read comics and watch movies.

Chloe is an Orientation Leader majoring in Vocal Music with an outside field in business and a minor in Psychology. She is also on the e-board for DSA Choral Ensemble, an event manager for Babysitting Hiking, and a Jumpstart leader.

Eleanor is an Orientation Leader with a major in Sociology and a minor in History. On campus, she works as an office assistant in the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards, a host and writer for some ICTV shows, and is the Class of 2026 Senator on the Student Governance Council. To relax, Eleanor likes to watch movies, read fiction, short stories, and essay collections, and to paint and embroider when she can.

Grace is an Orientation Leader majoring in Television and Digital Media. They are a TA in the Park school and a member of the club ultimate Frisbee team. When not in class or playing ultimate Frisbee, Gray likes to play board games, and watch tv shows and movies.

Jackson is an Orientation Leader majoring in Television and Digital Media with a minor in Graphic Design. Jackson is involved with many different organizations and interests on campus, including campus dining, Delta Kappa Alpha, ICTV, Planned Parenthood Generation Action, a cappella, and macabre theatre. He is interested in singing and music, theatre and performance, tv and movies, video and board games, and being outdoors.

Kate is an Orientation Leader majoring in Cinema and Photography with a concentration in cinema production. When she's not exploring different clubs on campus, Kate is most likely volunteering, dancing, making jewelry, or watching movies.

Leila is an Orientation Leader studying Musical Theatre with a minor in Women and Gender Studies. She is a Head Peer Success Coach, occasionally works as a student accompanist, and has participated in various student-run and department-run theatre productions. Some of Leila's interests include music or arts and crafts, playing around on the guitar, and making little embroidery projects.

Lydia is an Orientation Leader with a double major in Emerging Media and Music (voice). She is also the President of IC Voicestream and a member and choreographer of IC Defy Dance Co. Outside of classes and extracurriculars, Lydia likes to bake, sew, craft, and hike.

Maddy is an Orientation Leader with a double major in Chemistry and Physical Therapy. She is the Treasurer for Ithaca College Physical Therapy Students of Color, the upcoming Vice President for Asian American Alliance, a Jumpstart leader, a TA in the chemistry department, and she also plays saxophone in Ithaca College's non-music majors band. Maddy also likes to read when she has the time.

Nik is an Orientation Leader studying Physical Therapy with a minor in Theatre. They are also an MLK Scholar and a member of Macabre and Harmony club theater. When not in class or clubs, Nik can be found dancing, going to campus events, crocheting, or doing other crafts.

Paige is an Orientation Leader studying Speech Pathology and Audiology with a minor in Education Studies. At Ithaca, Paige is the Secretary of the Speech Language Club, a member of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association, plays for the club soccer team, and hopes to join the American Sign Language club on campus. Some of her passions include playing soccer and being outside.

Roli is an Orientation Leader studying Music Education. They are a member of IC Premium Blend and work at the Fitness Center, and some of her interests are powerlifting, plants, and photography.

Sammi is an Orientation Leader studying Athletic Training, and is part of the club softball team, Outing Club, and works in the Office of Admissions. A few of Sammi's interests include softball, hiking, art, and human anatomy.

Sydney is an Orientation Leader majoring in Clinical Health Studies / Physical Therapy and minoring in Neuroscience and Psychology. She is also the treasurer of the Ithaca College Physical Therapy Student Association and Buzzsaw Magazine, an admission host for the Office of Admissions, a Peer Tutor for psychology courses in the Office of Student Success, and she is involved with the greater Ithaca community through the Leadership Scholars Program. Sydney loves hiking and being outside in Ithaca, so you'll likely find her hammocking near the pond or on a nearby hiking trail.

Isabelle is an Orientation Mentor with a double major in Art History and Theatre Studies. Outside of class, Isabelle enjoys reading, baking, and being outdoors, and she is also a student employee at the Handwerker Gallery.

Maddie is an Orientation Mentor majoring in Speech Language Pathology and Deaf Studies. Some of her passions include singing and making music with friends, cooking, and being outdoors. Maddie is also the President of the a cappella group, Premium Blend, and a member of the Admission Host Committee. 

Abigail is an Orientation Leader studying Film, Photography, and Visual Arts who has been involved with WICB radio and The Ithacan's video team. Abigail loves 90's TV shows, zinemaking, and listening to all types of music.

Anushka is an Orientation Leader majoring in Vocal Music Education, and is the social media chair and member of Amani Gospel Singers. Outside of class, she enjoys watching horror movies, cooking, and listening to Laufey.

Autumn is an Orientation Leader pursuing a double major in Journalism and Religious Studies. Outside of class, she likes to run, read, write poetry and short stories, spent time outside, play piano and guitar, and to sing. Autumn is a member of the cross country and track team at Ithaca, a writer for The Ithacan and Buzzsaw Magazine, an editor for Stillwater Magazine, the Vice President of Communications for SPJ, and a member of the Park Scholar Program.

Brady is an Orientation Leader majoring in Theatre Production and Design. During the academic year, he works on production teams for various shows on campus and hopes to work in Dillingham Center this upcoming year. Some of Brady's hobbies include photography, singing, baking, reading, and thrifting.

Cami is an Orientation Leader majoring in Acting and pursuing a minor in Writing for Film, Television, and Emerging Media. Some of her passions include soccer, songwriting, playwriting, directing, and Christianity. Cami is also the President of the Lighthouse Christian Fellowship, a member of the Ithaca College Women's Club Soccer team, part of the Rock Hard Dance Company, and the Cereal Ministry Writing Club. 

Chloe is an Orientation Leader with a Cinema Major and has minors in Writing for Film and Global Pre-Modern Studies. As a member of ICTV and the President of Second Stage, Chloe likes to relax by reading, writing, and enjoying theatre.

Eli is an Orientation Leader majoring in Theatre Administration and a minor Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Eli enjoys a cappella, theatre, and diving. On campus, he is part of IC Voicestream and is a Marketing and Events Promotions Assistant for the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. 

Grace is an Orientation Leader majoring in Environmental Science with a minor in Education Studies. Some of her favorite activities include hiking, thrifting, reading, and anything else outdoors. Additionally, Grace is a STEM tour guide and a student researcher for aquaponics.

Jayda is an Orientation Leader pursuing a Psychology and Sociology major and a minor in Counseling. On campus, she is a member of the dance group IC Unbound and the Student Psych Association, and is a TA for statistics in psychology with Mary DePalma. Jadya enjoys dancing, reading, watching movies, and collecting trinkets.

Kate is an Orientation Leader majoring in Physical Therapy and pursuing a minor in Dance. On campus, she works at the library cafe and is involved with two dance groups, IC Unbound (member) and IC Defy Dance Co. (Junior President). Outside of classes and extracurricular activities, Kate likes to draw, hike, bake, dance, and camp.

Leo is an Orientation Leader majoring in Viola Music Education with a crossover in band track. On campus, he is part of IC Hillel and enjoys drone photography, video games, playing piano and singing during his free time.

Maddie is an Orientation Leader majoring in Physical Therapy with minors in Communication Disorders and Health Policy Management. She is also the President, choreographer, and member of IC Unbound, co-chair of Civic Engagement, an admission host, DMV Regional Ambassador, and part of research projects within the physical therapy department. In her free time, Maddie likes to dance, cook, spend time outside, and nap with her cat.

Madeline is an Orientation Leader majoring in Music Education. During their free time, they like to read, knit, and do anything related to music. She is also involved with the Music Library and the Flute Ensemble. 

Oli is an Orientation Leader majoring in Music Education with a trumpet concentration. They are also the President of the Ithaca College Trumpet Guild and a member of the Outing Club. In her free time, Oli likes to woodwork, read, be outdoors, and do crossword puzzles.

Quincey is an Orientation Leader with double majors in Politics and Education Studies. They are the President of IC Students for Palestine and Social Media Coordinator for iSign, and also do a lot of activism work on-campus and in the greater Ithaca community. Additionally, they are currently learning ASL, and like to relax by reading, writing, and crocheting.

Ruth Ada is an Orientation Leader pursuing a major in Emerging Media and minors in Graphic Design and Computer Science. At Ithaca, she is the Art and Web Editors at Buzzsaw Magazine, an Audio Visual Technician at the IT Department, and a Marketing and Events Promotion Assistant in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. A few of Ruth Ada's interests include art, reading, fashion, films and media, pop culture, and technology.

Sarah is an Orientation Leader majoring in Journalism with minors in History and Anthropology. She works as a newscaster for WICB and VIC, copy edits and writes for The Ithacan, and acted as treasurer of the SAB Organization. Sarah has a passion for writing, being outdoors, and music.

Victoria is an Orientation Leader studying Music Education with a concentration in trumpet and a minor in Mathematics. On campus, she is the Treasurer and Secretary-elect of the Ithaca Trumpet Guild, and plays in many ensembles in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. Victoria is also a supervisor for Phonathon in Alumni Hall. When not in class, she enjoys listening to music, playing instruments, rock climbing, drawing, playing board games, and hanging out with friends and family.
