Committee Charge

Institutional compliance with both the Clery Act and Title Title IX, with all of their intricacies and mandates, requires colleges to build bridges, enhance communication across disciplines, with the shared goal of creating and maintaining a safe community for all members. This committee is tasked with collaborating to address compliance requirements under the Clery Act, Title IX, Drug Free Schools and Communities Act, and other related regulations. 

The committee is responsible for assisting with gathering and verifying Clery Act related data and policies, with the ongoing goal of making Clery compliance truly an institutional-wide effort. 

Committee Membership

The Compliance Committee is chaired by Elyse Nepa, Assistant Director of the Clery Act and Prevention Education and Linda Koenig, Director of Title IX and ADA Compliance. The membership is prescribed and made up of key stakeholders from the following offices: Residential Life, Title IX, Student Conduct, Athletics, Human Resources, Office of General Counsel, Facilities, Public Safety, Student Engagement, Center for Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, New Student and Transition Programs, and the Provost and Academic Affairs.

Meeting Times

The committee meets quarterly.
