Document resources being used and any feedback (positive/negative) the student is experiencing
Document any additional resources/support you offer
Document any action steps you’ve taken in your role as an advisor (reviewed statements, policies, facilitated contact with a support source)
Notify the Title IX Coordinator about any violations of the Sexual Misconduct Policy, including any retaliatory conduct that the advisee discloses to you, whether or not they are the respondent, reporting party, or were not directly involved. If your advisee does not want you to report something that they disclosed to you, you still must report it but you may include the advisee’s request for privacy or non-investigation as part of your notification
