Reflections on Identity, Race, Colonialism, and Islam

To mark Professor Asma Barlas' retirement in Spring 2020, the Politics department will hold a symposium featuring three alumni panels discussing the politics of identity, Islam, race, and colonialism, and a keynote lecture by Professor Barlas, herself. The event will close with an informal reception during which alumni, students, and her colleagues are welcome to also share more words about their time with her.

Tea Time with Hilary: A Sex Ed Workshop Series for LGBTQ students

Join LGBT Center Intern and Sex Educator Hilary Wermers in this weekly workshop series that will explore many and varied facets of sex and sexuality! Bring your favorite hot beverage and your curiosity. Hilary will be sure to spill the tea.

Time: 3 pm eastern (1 hour workshop,plus time for questions)

Opioid Overdose Prevention Training

Learn how to save the life of someone who has overdosed on an opioid such as Oxycontin, Vicodin or heroin. Participants will gain knowledge of harm reduction principles, symptoms of overdose, how to administer naloxone (Narcan) to an opioid overdose victim, and the naloxone access initiative at Ithaca College.

Hosted by the Center for Health Promotion, in partnership with Southern Tier AIDS Program (STAP).

Open to all IC faculty, staff and students.

The IC Web Team will be holding remote open support hours every other Friday during the semester. Bring your questions about Drupal, Web Profile Manager (WPM), site migration, site architecture, content types, or any other web-related topic and the team will do their best to answer.
