Join us for an evening with Sara Bawany, a social worker and a poet with a passion for bringing some of the most-taboo issues in South Asian and Muslim communities to light.

A clinical social worker in the Dallas area, Sara recently published her first book of poetry. (w)holehearted touches on themes of identity, mental health, domestic violence, femininity, relationships, spirituality, forgiveness, and a variety of social justice issues.

For two hours, come and go as you please from the library's classroom 319 as we livestream a reading of Frankenstein from the Library of Congress.

Distinguished Visiting Writer Dorianne Laux will give a public reading at 5:30 pm on Thursday, Oct. 4, in Clark Lounge, Campus Center.

Distinguished Visiting Writer Amy Hempel will give a public reading at 6 pm on Monday, Oct. 22, in Clark Lounge, Campus Center.

Distinguished Visiting Writer Ander Monson will give a public reading at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18 in Clark Lounge, Campus Center.
