Want to win prizes for being creative and get some great work for your portfolio? Then join the American Advertising Federation for our Spring Virtual Creative Crunch Competition! Teams of 2-5 students will receive a creative brief on Friday 4/16 at 12pm and have 24 hours to create an advertising campaign for a mystery company, then present their work to a panel of industry professions at 12pm on Saturday (4/17) over Zoom. The first and second place winners will receive Dunkin Donuts gift cards! Don’t have a team? Sign up as an individual and we will place you on one.

THE FACES OF PREVENTION, April 30th | Sexual Assault Awareness Month Programming

Ithaca College’s Sexual Violence Prevention Committee is collaborating with campus and community partners to highlight on-going prevention education at Ithaca College. During the 1-hour panel discussion, titled “Faces of Prevention", participants will have an opportunity to hear from various campus partners in Title IX, Public Safety, Counseling and Psychological Services, Case Management, Center for Health Promotion, and Religious and Spiritual Life.

Her current role as Assistant Director of Compliance at the University of Deleware has not faulted her deep connection with Ithaca as she continues to embrace the importance of community.

Reflections on Identity, Race, Colonialism, and Islam

To mark Professor Asma Barlas' retirement in Spring 2020, the Politics department will hold a symposium featuring three alumni panels discussing the politics of identity, Islam, race, and colonialism, and a keynote lecture by Professor Barlas, herself. The event will close with an informal reception during which alumni, students, and her colleagues are welcome to also share more words about their time with her.
