Free Listening with Active Minds At IC!

Outside the Pub on the Tables!
Need to vent? Feel like you don't have others to talk to about a topic? Feeling stressed? Active Minds at Ithaca College will be hosting Free Listening sessions today from 4-5 pm outside The Pub on the tables. Look for our cardboard sign that says "Free Listening"! We are there to provide a listening ear and be non-judgmental. A sticker will be offered to those who talk to us.

Walking as Wellness (Leading Self)

Taughannock Falls Room, Campus Center (then outside)
This presentation explores the connection between wellness and walking and what the physical act of walking can do for our mental and physical health. We'll talk about the walking routines of a number of famous philosophers and what their walks represented for them and what we can learn from them as well. In order to ensure that this SLI is accessible to all students, we'll also explore the idea of the "walk" beyond the physical act of walking.

Button Making in the Library

Ithaca College Library
The library will help you make a free button out of magazines, book covers or even your own image, too! We'll set up a table on the entrance floor of the library. Registration is not required. This event is listed as part of the JED Campus Stop and Breathe week, attendees will be eligible to participate in the Stop and Breathe raffle (be sure to sign in at the event).
