Office Retreats

The BIPOC Unity Center at Ithaca College is dedicated to fostering community, empowerment, and support for all students in our community. As part of our commitment to student success and holistic development, we propose hosting an annual retreat designed to provide students with enriching experiences, meaningful connections, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Retreat aims to:

  1. Build Community: Foster a sense of belonging and solidarity among First Generation and BIPOC students through shared experiences and dialogue.
  2. Empower Students: Provide tools, resources, and insights that empower students to thrive academically, socially, and professionally.
  3. Develop leaders: Activities provide an immersive, structured, and supportive environment where participants can reflect, build skills, and strengthen relationships.
  4. Cultural Enrichment: Celebrate and explore diverse cultures, histories, and identities through curated activities and excursions.

Please note that all retreats are open to all students at Ithaca College. While there may be some specific objectives and focus areas, we warmly invite you to be in community and learn with us.
