Open Forum - Strategic Planning

Come meet the design team who put together the draft Strategic Planning Process to ask questions or offer your feedback on this important campus initiative. Members of the team will be on hand to listen and engage in discussion.

If you haven't already done so, please complete the draft plan survey and submit nominations for who should be involved in the planning process.

22nd Annual James J. Whalen Academic Symposium

The Annual James J. Whalen Academic Symposium provides a forum for students, faculty, and the community to discuss cutting edge research topics and to examine the connection between research and education. The Symposium includes poster, presentation and creative (visual, media and performing arts) sessions by students from all academic disciplines.

NCUR Information Session

This will be a brief information session for students interested in participating in the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR).

The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) is the largest conference on undergraduate research in the country. Each year, approximately 4,000 undergraduates from all over the country present their scholarship as posters, oral presentations, performances, and works of art. It is a great opportunity for students to present their research and network with other undergraduate researchers.

How can the assessment narrative of one department inform others’ assessment plan, implementation, analysis, and decision-making? To answer these questions (and more), please join the H&S Assessment Committee as they partner with the Center for Faculty Excellence to host a working lunch centered on departmental assessment processes.
