The Auditions Assistant provides administrative support work for the Center for Theatre and Dance production season audition process.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Producing Associates as they share announcements about auditions and gather information from those who are auditioning
  • Read and respond to emails leading up to auditions, exercising discretion in correspondence
  • Track detailed information as it is being submitted 
    • Compare information submitted with lists of students and requirements
  • Monitor scheduling
  • Organize virtual materials on Microsoft Teams 
  • Proofread lists
  • Cross-reference data 
  • Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of the CTD production season auditions and processes
  • Reliable and available to work hours in a highly condensed timeframe
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Adobe, and Teams is preferred. 

Hours: 30 hours per semester; typically in August and January, leading up to the production season auditions during the first week of classes. Working hours are flexible and primarily virtual.
