The Auditions Assistant provides administrative support work for the Center for Theatre and Dance production season audition process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Report to the Producing Associates as they share announcements about auditions and gather information from those who are auditioning
- Read and respond to emails leading up to auditions, exercising discretion in correspondence
- Track detailed information as it is being submitted
- Compare information submitted with lists of students and requirements
- Monitor scheduling
- Organize virtual materials on Microsoft Teams
- Proofread lists
- Cross-reference data
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of the CTD production season auditions and processes
- Reliable and available to work hours in a highly condensed timeframe
- Must be detail oriented
- Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Google Suite, Adobe, and Teams is preferred.
Hours: 30 hours per semester; typically in August and January, leading up to the production season auditions during the first week of classes. Working hours are flexible and primarily virtual.
