Assist the Theatre Administration faculty and students in design to create a cohesive institutional image for the Ithaca College Theatre season.
Along with their application, students must submit a portfolio of design work to the faculty supervisor. Include up to five (5) of the following assets:
- Advertisement (include poster, etc.)
- Social Media Graphic
- Original design piece with graphic elements
Qualifications:
- Preference will be given to students with Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing, who have an established design portfolio for the performing arts
- Proficiency in the use of the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign
- Must be available to work up to 6 hours per week
- Excellent communications skills across multiple platforms
- Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and create design materials for the Theatre Administration area, including but not limited to:
- marketing collateral for the Ithaca College Theatre production season
- front of house signage for house management and box office
- opening night reception invitations
- other design of other collateral as requested
- Follow and adhere to appropriate specifications for marketing collateral
- Coordinate with Theatre Administration faculty to adhere to brand standards for Center for Theatre and Dance and specific production deadlines
- Liaise with TAM Marketing Team regarding marketing plan and specific promotion details
Hours: up to 6 hours per week
